This single was released a week after the Beatles "invaded" America. Features a Chuck Berry-like guitar intro, catchy chorus and lyrics (based on Dennis's real-life experiences?) which teenagers could relate to, it was a major hit and showed that the Beach Boys could respond to the challenge of the Beatles.
