Many SMiLE bootlegs had a short instrumental track called "Holidays", but one of the major surprises and pleasures of the completed SMiLE 2004 was this track, which added lyrics to the instrumental. The track ends off with the "whispering winds" section first heard on "Smiley Smile" and naturally leading into "Wind Chimes."
It would seem that the lyrics for this song were added in 2003. There is some speculation that the "pirate" theme may be some reference to bootleggers!
